Sunday Artwork and Weekly Catch-up
It’s Sunday night, so it’s time to recap my posts from the past week! Click on titles to read more.
Monday: It’s All a Lot — A rumination on some of the aspects of school that are leaving me exhausted. The part that really saddens me is that I know my setup is a lot easier than many teachers have it.
Tuesday: Magic in the Classroom — The first of — I assume — several posts about the Magic of teaching. This post is about the power that allowing randomness and chance into your classroom can have for you and your students.
Wednesday: More Classroom Magic — Drawing — Another Magic post, discussing the power of drawing, acknowledging that you don’t capture images as well as a camera, and the Magic that drawing contains.
Thursday: Getting Outside — This is a post about how nice it is for all of us to find any reason to do our work outside, or even to spend a little extra time outdoors. It’s always true, but in Covid-Times, it’s even more so!
Friday: Mountain Biking and Meditation — I talk to my students about how my mountain biking experience relates to one of our daily guided meditations. I also include a link to a great resource for guided meditations in the classroom (or for personal use).
Saturday: Untitled, Advice from a Bird — A cartoon that I drew on Saturday, perfect for a day that I forgot to post a blog!
