On Any Given Day

It can be hard to get started. And if you’re started, it can be hard to continue.

That’s got to be okay, though.

Today was an alright day. It was Present Day, that was nice. I made Riley some stickers with characters from The Mandalorian. Gavin made me an origami cat. He added stick on googly eyes. That’s always a plus.

We had computer testing, that’s never the funnest*, but it’s a necessary evil. We watched several videos about roads and trains and steam engines. The three pages about pioneer travel in our Social Studies books really didn’t do a lot to help us visualize what it was describing. It was pretty cool.

But with all of that, here I am, and it’s nearly eleven o’clock, and there’s nothing I want to talk about all that much. I watched Captain Marvel again. Tomorrow is VIP Day, that sounds nice.

Here’s the thing, with all of it, you’re never going to be inspired and wonderful every time. It’s okay. Keep going a bit. I said at the beginning, and it’s still true, if no one reads this, it’s okay. Either it’s going to connect me to a greater truth, or it’s going to help me focus my thoughts better. So I do a little writing and move on.

Just keep moving is the thing!

*Yes, I know. I don’t care.
