In Training

Bold Girl (see last week’s blogs) is back, with a bright pink cast on her arm. She’s not allowed to run around or do any rough play. How is she keeping busy during recess? She’s training Quiet Girl to defend herself. She’s holding her lunchbox up in front of her, and saying, “Kick, good! Kick, good! Kick, good! Punch, good! Punch, good!” as Quiet Girl kicks and punches the lunchbox. It is both bad-ass and adorable at the same time. This is one of my favorite friendships ever now.
